matthew__b_c_ Mike is a legendary dj and he pulls out all of the stops here. So many diverse and pleasant sounds to enjoy from intense static noise walls, serene surfy guitars, bass so juicy you can see the blood on the plate, bubbly horn lines, and so much much more. Writing hardly does it justice, but there's a deep emotional well to this record that goes beyond the pristine production and arrangements. Absolutely recommend. Favorite track: Soul Symphony.

cep77 Beautiful album from start to finish-I would highly recommend. Favorite track: The Return of Doctor Danger.

atominizerz The New Albadore Album takes you on a dream escape setting in one of those night terror experiences of existential palm sweating reality of darkness to your happy safe place and back leaving a awoken sense of a good sleep. Dreams of being in a Hackers movie hacking the planet and then being morphed into being in a dream of Taxi Driver Movie with hints of a Dostoyevsky Short Story. The album leaves you feeling mentally agitated chaotic state of audio satisfaction. Favorite track: Duplicated.

Rachel Cutler It has quickly become the background to my day. It actively reminds me to chill. I hit play and it knows what I need to relax.

etherealgurl The Forgotten Future is a trip into an ethereal dreamscape that seems somehow both familiar and completely new. Best consumed from start to finish, a psychonautical attitude is a must...it dances around both shadow and light in a masterpiece of sound. This is music for consciousness exploration. Do yourself a favor and set aside some time to lower the lights, light a candle, some incense and don a good set of headphones and take a trip into the Forgotten Future. Favorite track: Do You Remember.

catfish1974 what an amazing musical offering that takes the listener on a journey from start to finish.. Revolving and evolving musical patterns that allow for removal of life's distractions and an opportunity for meditation.. A lengthy release but at no point do I feel compelled to get off of the ride.. Highly recommend

Sleep 02:50
Sleep slipped like a stripper onto his lap then pressed herself against his body holding him in place, (she was surprisingly strong) and slowly, so very slowly pressed a pillow over his face, humming softly and purring as it got darker and darker Sleep loved that Ben Webster album Atmosphere for Lovers and Thieves when the record ended she danced like moonlight on water to the crackles and pops of the vinyl she danced to his low, shallow breaths she curled up next to him and listened to him snore and waited for morning.

Your Perfume 02:08
I might have thought that it was just a Particularly Vivid Dream if my clothes and my hands hadn’t still smelled like your perfume when I woke up, lips just a bit bruised, and body aching a little from the aftereffects of the alcohol and all of that not getting much in the way of sleep stuff But who knows? Maybe it was a dream that we both had, only to be alluded to obliquely in the less forgiving light of sober day. Still… (if I may be candid) I really, really, really liked that dream. It started with a hum this dream maybe not a dream a hum that sang to my bones and i was awake (I think) stepping with deliberate child steps down the suddenly silent stairs into cool blue light and then nothing until morning found me pajama-ed as usual safe and well rested in my attic room remembering the angel at the foot of my bed, barely old enough to build such a thought with the words I had learned Poem is Copyright 2013, Michael S Absher

Mirage 04:41
I spilt my water on thirsty sand so many lonely footsteps ago and you recede from my feverish view rippling like a silken sail in the heat a mirage that I swore that I touched once, twice, again, again but your image galloped away while my eyes were closed leaving nothing but the dream

about

23 years after his first release as Albadore, Michael A steps out of the shadows with his most personal work. A near-lethal infection and long hospital stay inspired this album, which has a rough theme of the inconsistency of memory and dreams, and the confusion of the two.

about

Albadore Flint, Michigan

Stepping from the ashes of his first band, SSG, Michael A has led various lineups of Albadore since 2000, setting up strange frameworks for his collaborators to play around on. Sometimes it's just him. It's frequently dark, but not always. Kind of like life. ... more
